Thanks to IRs, Hot demand for high-end social escorts
HIGH-END social-escort agencies have seen more clients this year – which they credit to the launch of the integrated resorts (IRs) here.
According to Ten escort agencies in Singapore, most saw their number of clients grow by between 10 and 40 per cent this year, over the same period last year.
The bulk of these new clients are foreign professionals, managers, executives and businessmen who hire escorts to accompany them to business meetings and casino games at the IRs, said the agencies.
They added that they familiarised the escorts with places of attraction here, so that they can double as personal tour guides.
RD Escort Group saw a 30 to 40 per cent jump in clients this year, compared to the same period last year.
Its talent scout said: “With more and more upcoming business events and trade shows at Marina Bay Sands and Resorts World Sentosa, we have overseas clients booking (escorts) in advance.”
According to the owner of RD Escort Group, said: “Having a beautiful lady at the casino can be a status symbol for some people. Some book dinner at the Singapore Flyer, go round the city and visit the casino before spending the night at Resorts World Sentosa.”
The agencies said that they do not promote sexual services, and take 30 to 40 per cent of an escort’s earnings as commission.
“As Singapore is promoted as a lifestyle location for affluent individuals, in the ranks of Monte Carlo (a resort and casino in Las Vegas), there is definitely a demand for good and high-end escorts,” he said.
“They are paying a lot more than for a romp at Geylang. Well-heeled travellers want someone who understands them and caters to their intellectual whims.”
A 21-year-old social escort with RD Escort Group has received more assignments from foreign clients last month, than in January.
She said: “Most clients want someone to talk to, about their unhappiness at work or failed relationships. When the two integrated resorts are running fully, I hope to be busier.”
